A convention inspired birthday card

I made this card for my mums birthday but was having a bit of a block,so  looked through my convention makes and was inspired to make this.

I used the colours wisteria wonder,island indigo and pool party along with a few stamp sets lol

I am so sorry I haven't been around much of late, but I am so busy getting ready for convention in Manchester his week.

I am so excited but hadn't bargained on how long it would take me to get ready, but I will have lots of exciting things to show you soon!!

So here`s a quick card I made recently

Washi tape

Recently I attended team training, its always on a Sunday afternoon and its such great fun. No matter how many or few turn up its always a great chance to catch up,find out the latest news and try out some fun techniques and projects.

One of the products we played with was the washi tape,its fairly new to Stampin` Up! but it is so easy to use and so many ways.

On this little card we just stuck the strips on and cut around the edge of the square (saved the scraps for later) and punched a butterfly out of the middle (again saved for later) mounted and voila! a quick and easy card.

Then using the scraps another card, so easy!
