Thinking of you

I had a very hard card to make today as the husband of one of the ladies down our stables has passed away following a battle with cancer, he leaves behind young children.

They have decided to have a blue and white theme to his funeral as he was a Chelsea fan, it really makes you count your blessings hearing sad news like this

I decided to use the Serene Silhouettes stamped on cordinating card with ink in Midnight muse, Island Indigo and Pool Party and have used a simple thinking of you sentiment, im sorry that the sentiment set from Curly cute is no longer available and I wouldnt usually use something that has retired however I didnt have another suitable sentiment, so I hope you will forgive me.

Thanks for looking and keep safe everyone x

Thinking of you

This was a difficult card for me to make as it is for my close friend who told me today that the baby her and her husband were expecting has died. Words are never enough but I wanted to send a card to say I am thinking of them.

I have used the serene silhouettes stamp in midnight muse and added raspberry ripple butterfly and stitched ribbon, the sentiment is from the ever versatile curly cute set.

If you would like to order any of these items, please email me.

Lovely as a tree

Today I have made a card with the lovely as a tree stamp set and glittered it up so it looks like its all frosted, I so love this stamp and it was first on my list of items when I signed up to Stampin Up!

I used the scallop trim border down the sides of an embossed piece of gumball green paper. The sentiment is from the curly cute stamp set.

The red paper is embossed using the polka dot folder

I have decided to enter this card for the following challenges

Thanks for stopping bye

Serene Silhouettes - monochramatic

I have used one of the stamps from the Serene Silhouette collection (127324) and stamped it with versamark and clear embossed onto 3 pieces of card and then cut them into thirds and matched up.

I have used the stitched ribbon in raspberry ripple around the edge of the image and stamped using the curly cute sentiment (120510)

It looks a little wonky in this picture but it is really the surface I have photographed it on, I was having trouble getting the light and the background right sorry.

I have entered this card into the following challenges

Charisma Cardz - Dont be square
Less is more - a sketch to follow

Thank you for visiting, please come back soon
