A Rainbow card in a box to brighten up a dreary week!

What hideous weather we have had this week, grey skies and rain, rain, rain!

It was one of my best friends birthday this week and she is rainbow obsessed, even lists her job as a rainbow hunter on facebook!

So I decided to create a rainbow card in a box for her, it also gave me another last chance to use the 2013-14 In colours, they retire at the end of June.

Gorgeous grunge stamp set Stampin up in colours uk based demo

As you can see I used gorgeous grunge stamp set to stamp the panels.

Dont forget to check back soon as Stampin` Up! release the retiring list tomorrow and items on the list are only around whilst stocks last!

Lots of love

I really wanted to try one of these card in a boxes, as its all the rage at the moment and am planning on doing a class next month for mothers day with the flower shop stamp set, contact me to book your place!

So for this card I have used a few stamp sets all with hearts (language of love, hearts a flutter, and label love for the greeting.

The two colours I have used are cherry cobbler and calypso coral and I really had a great time with this and dont think it turned out too badly for a first attempt

I thought this would be ideal for the challenge at Cute card Thursday I havent played for a long time and thought it was about time I did.

Dont forget you can place you order for Stampin Up supplies with me and remember for every £45 you spend before the end of march you get to pick a free gift from the Sale-a-bration catalogue.

Team swaps and a sneaky peak of sale a bration 2014

Today we have our quaterly team training in Peterborough and it really is a fab day , we get to meet up with the team and there is usually about 40 of us, try out new products and get updated on all the company news.

As with all of our team events we participate in swaps, the theme this time is sale-a-bration as it is open at the end of the month. It starts from 28th January and for every £45 you spend you get to pick a FREE item from the speacial booklet.

Now these products are absolutely fab and to wet your appetite I am going to show you a little sneak peak, the bunting on this card is made with the new banner punch that you can earn for free shortly.

I have tried these in all different colour combinations including strawberry slush, pistaschio pudding, coastal cabana, midnight muse, wisteria wonder, island indigo, pool party, calypso coral, baked brown sugar to name a few.

The background is "splodged" with the gorgeous grunge stamp set and the sentiment is from itty bitty and as always I have a favourite combination and it has to be the blues this time

Dont forget you can order your products at my online shop or email me at mycraftypottingshed@gmail.com and you will soon see my new classes being advertised and I hope to speak to you all soon

A different gift bag

At convention you get to do some make and takes, they are set up to use the stamp sets we get as part of our package.

As convention was soo busy I bought a lot of mine home with me to do and I decided to use a different stamp set with this tag a bag kit.

I love the ideas I picked up at convention and hadn't thought of scoring the bag and slicing along the bottom to make a lunch style bag, I was quite pleased with it.
