A Rainbow card in a box to brighten up a dreary week!

What hideous weather we have had this week, grey skies and rain, rain, rain!

It was one of my best friends birthday this week and she is rainbow obsessed, even lists her job as a rainbow hunter on facebook!

So I decided to create a rainbow card in a box for her, it also gave me another last chance to use the 2013-14 In colours, they retire at the end of June.

Gorgeous grunge stamp set Stampin up in colours uk based demo

As you can see I used gorgeous grunge stamp set to stamp the panels.

Dont forget to check back soon as Stampin` Up! release the retiring list tomorrow and items on the list are only around whilst stocks last!

Elements of style swaps

These are my swaps I made for Peterborough I stamped Elements of style in each of the in colours - Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Midnight Muse, Gumball Green and Summer Starfruit on to very vanilla card stock and then mounted them on to matching card stock.

I also cut some butterflies out from matching card and stuck on, easy but effective!

Baubles everywhere

For this card I have used the ever popular ornament keepsake bundle set, I have stamped the baubles in Cherry cobbler ink and then cut them out using the die. I have mounted them on a background of Gumball green. The sentiment is again stamped in Cherry cobbler ink.

Dont forget if you would like to make cards like this and would like to order from Stampin Up just email me or leave a comment. Also in January there are lots of specials coming up including an excellent deal if you sign up to join our team, so keep your eyes peeled.

I have entered this card in the following challenges

Thank you for looking, please come back soon

Lovely as a tree

Today I have made a card with the lovely as a tree stamp set and glittered it up so it looks like its all frosted, I so love this stamp and it was first on my list of items when I signed up to Stampin Up!

I used the scallop trim border down the sides of an embossed piece of gumball green paper. The sentiment is from the curly cute stamp set.

The red paper is embossed using the polka dot folder

I have decided to enter this card for the following challenges

Thanks for stopping bye

Thanks a bunch

I have made this card using the Friendship Preserves stamp set (item 127910) and cut out the card with Framelits dies (item 129021)

This card was made at the pasionettes quarterly training session on Sunday, however I feel mine is missing something on the grey card stock, not sure what though, or maybe I should have moved the "flaps" up a little?

Rainbow butterflies

Here I have used the papillion potpourri set again and have used the 2012-2014 in colour combo of Midnight muse, Raspberry tipple, Primrose petals, Summer starfruit and Gumball green.

I have stamped the butterflies in the same colour and voila! a very effective and easy card

I hope you aren't too fed up of butterflies as I have plenty more cards to come from this range, but I promise I will get one of the other sets out soon but these are just so easy to use!
